CHECK YOUR PRODUCT AFTER DELIVERY

  • All electronic products are tested and packed with care before shipment, however…
  • It is highly recommended that you inspect your product upon receiving for visible damages.
  • Report any shipping damages within 48 hours of the product’s delivery.
  • We will not be able to assist with any damages reported 48 hours after product delivery

IN CASE OF DAMAGES

  • If there is a damage to the product itself, please take a few photos of the damaged product and packaging, then email them to us at info@mayaselectronics.com .
  • Do not throw away or alter any of the product or packaging. It must be in the same condition as it was received in order for us to properly establish that the damage was due to shipping, and not due to some other cause. If the box is severely damaged, please put the damaged package into another secure container for shipping. We are not able to accept claims for shipping damage if any of the packaging or contents have been altered or discarded.
  • We will file a Damage Inspection Claim which results in a carrier follow-up to inspect your package.

UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS

  • Please do not ship your order back until you have received confirmation from us to return it.
  • Maya’s Electronics cannot accept unauthorized returns or exchanges

SHIPPING BACK PRODUCTS (AFTER APPROVAL)

  • Please pack the items to prevent damage in transit and keep the product’s packaging in its original condition.
  • All products being returned must be 100% complete, in new, re-sellable condition, with the original software, components, cables, documentation, manual(s) and accessories.
  • All items must be unassembled and re-packaged in the way they were received.
  • The original product carton should not be defaced by marks or tape
  • Returns that do not include all peripherals may be returned to the customer or charged on a per item basis.

RETURNS PROCESSING

  • All returns will be inspected and tested upon receipt.
  • Most returns are processed within 1-3 business days.
  • Please note some returns may require extended processing days for determination to be made if eligibility requirements are met for refund or exchange.

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

  • Non-defective products cannot be returned.
  • Custom-cut cable / wire, carpet, grill cloth, and tubing (samples are available upon request in order to evaluate for proper application. Shipping charges apply)
  • Special order items/quantities
  • If there is no original packaging and/or is missing parts or accessories
  • Products purchased during closeout sales
  • Products with visible signs of use such as mounting marks*, scratches, solder, sealing caulk, dirt, sawdust or other debris/residue, extreme odors such as cigarette smoke
  • Speakers with a burned voice coil are not returnable for exchange, repair, refund, or credit, as this is not covered by its warranty.
  • No exceptions. Distinct burn odor and/or discolored/black spider around base of cone are characteristic of a burned voice coil. While we do not accept returns of speakers with burned voice coils, they may be returned, shipping prepaid, for evaluation.
  • WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE DUE TO DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS OR IMPROPER USE OF PRODUCTS
  • We do not refund products deemed defective as a result of mishandling or misuse.
  • While Maya’s Electronics is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase order, please understand that an order of that size, once purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable.

WRONG/ NOT WANTED, NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

  • Please review the compatibility and technical information carefully BEFORE placing any orders.
  • Please call us if you have any questions before placing any orders.
  • We suggest you verify all specifications with the manufacturers’ web sites before placing any orders.
  • Maya’s Electronics will not be liable if you order the wrong products.
  • We make every effort to provide complete and accurate descriptions of our products.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure product compatibility.

REPLACEMENT vs. REFUND

  • If the product is found to be faulty or defective, a replacement for the defective item will be shipped at our cost.
  • If the customer chooses not to receive the product exchange but requests a refund, up to 15% restocking fee may apply. In addition, any shipping charges associated with the order will be deducted from the refund (including the original shipping cost for items with free shipping).
  • If the product is returned as defective and is found not to be defective, it will be sent back to the customer at customer’s expense. Additional inspection fees may apply.
  • If the product is returned as defective and is found to be damaged due to improper installation, improper use or handling, it will be sent back to the customer at customer’s expense. Additional inspection fees may apply.
  • If we have mistakenly sent you the wrong item, we will correct it. Please contact us within 2 days and we will promptly correct the errors and reship the correct product at no additional cost to you. 
  • Refunds will NOT be Issued if:
    • Items that have malfunctioned due to mishandling, electrical overload, etc.
    • Factory applied serial number has been altered, tampered with, removed from the product or the number is not valid or not legible.
    • Returns shipped by customer are lost, stolen or damaged in transit.

CANCELLATION

  • Orders may be cancelled and refunded before they have left our warehouse.
  • Orders cancelled after they have left our warehouse will incur a 15% restocking fee.

RETURN POLICY ABUSE

  • Customers requesting repeated returns will be blocked from making any further purchases.
